For instance, you are more likely to come down with a cold when you’re stressed or overworked, or that your pain worsens when you’re sad and anxious. In fact, many practitioners consider it the foundation of healing such that no matter what combination of healing modalities may be chosen and utilized, without an awareness of and respect for the mind-body connection, healing will be much more difficult than it needs to be.
