Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy

Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is the medical use of 100% oxygen under increased atmospheric pressure within a specifically designed self-enclosed chamber. Besides inhalation of increased oxygen, the increase in pressure forces oxygen into cells within the body that will provide increase oxygenation throughout the whole system, invigorating the healing process. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy is not painful, and it is not an invasive procedure. This therapy, often requiring multiple visits, can be used in conjunction with other medical treatments as part of a patient’s treatment plan. It is used with wound healing, osteomyelitis, stroke, traumatic brain injury, Lyme Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, burns, near drowning, autism, Cerebral Palsy, chronic fatigue, sports injuries, and much more.
