Platelet Rich Plasma

Used in Prolotherapy treatments, platelet rich plasma works by supplying injured areas with natural proteins, cytokines, stem cells, and other bioactive growth factors transferred from a patient’s own body, usually from bone marrow or adipose (fat) tissue. It works by naturally triggering localized inflammation, collagen production, and other regenerative processes. The goal of PRP treatment is for new blood vessels and fibers to form, helping to tighten, repair, and strengthen damaged joints or tissue. PRP treatments help with unresponsive chronic pain and injuries such as tendonitis, plantar fasciitis, and osteoarthritis symptoms.
