ALF (Advanced Lightwire Functional appliance) is a custom fitted non-traditional removable orthodontic appliance. In combination with cranial osteopathy, ALF uses wires to reposition jaws, dental arches, and teeth to advance the mandible to promote changes in muscle function. The aim is to achieve stable results in improving a patient’s bite and posture as well as overall health.
