Bite Analysis

A bite analysis is performed to help determine if you are having a bad bite or if you have an occlusion disorder. A dentist who understands this complex area looks at alignment (how the teeth come together), the force being put on them, and range of motion of the jaws as well as performing a muscle exam and a health and stress questionnaire. Many use a non-invasive digital scanner for this analysis.  Analyzing the bite may give clues to resolving chronic health issues.
